File a report with the police. Make sure you have your IMEI number (found on the box of your mobile phone/smartphone), your SIM card number and your telephone number.

Before having your SIM card blocked, try calling your stolen mobile phone a few times. Note the times of these calls and pass them on when reporting. This may be useful in further investigation by the police services.

After the declaration you will receive a certificate of declaration (possibly required for the insurance).
